Gabe Giordano, Ph.D., is Chair of the MIS department at Ohio University. He teaches Information Systems courses in undergraduate, MBA, and executive programs. Previously, he taught in graduate programs at IESE Business School in Barcelona and Madrid, and worked in the custom business research industry in Phoenix. His research looks at challenges associated with virtual work and collaboration, detection of computer-based deception, and leadership strategies for transformational technology projects. His work has been published in top academic and practitioner outlets, and it has been reported about by major media outlets. Gabe also collaborates with businesses on research in these areas, and he has worked with firms in the automotive, insurance, airport management, sports, and IT-services areas.

Dr. Giordano earned his Bachelors in Business Administration in Business Computer Systems from New Mexico State University and his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Florida State University.
