Dr. Shyamkumar Sriram
Assistant Professor of Health Services Administration

Dr. Shyamkumar Sriram is an assistant professor of Health Services Administration at Ohio University and medical doctor. He holds a PhD in Health Services Policy and Management from the University of South Carolina, MPH from Tulane University, MHS from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and MS from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has also completed the Safety, Quality, Informatics and Leadership Program from the Harvard Medical School and he has a medical degree and residency in Preventive Medicine from India. He has recently completed a ‘Prevention Effectiveness Fellowship’ with the CDC. He has worked in a number of World Bank funded global health projects in India, Papa New Guinea, Turkey and Nigeria and a number of domestic public health projects with the CDC. His interests include global health, health financing, health policy, and health economics research.
