Tammy Reynolds joined Ohio University in August 2012 after 25 years working in Fortune 500 companies. She began her career at Marathon Oil Co., and most recently worked for Whirlpool Corp. at the company’s world headquarters in Benton Harbor, Michigan, where she led human resources for the North American Operations organization. In this large-scale human resource leadership role, Tammy had accountability for human capital strategy, talent pipeline development, HR operational infrastructure, and business continuity for all North America-based manufacturing, supply chain, and logistic locations. She has specialized expertise in organizational acquisition, change integration, and synergy capture.

Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science from West Liberty State University and a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from West Virginia University. She teaches integrated business cluster courses, human resources and organizational behavior for the MBA program, special leadership seminars in the Brazilian executive program, and other external executive education seminars. Tammy is the founder and advisor for OHIO Women in Business, the founder and director for the Emerging Leadership Development Program, and co-director for the Select Leadership Development Program.
