Electronic Navigation Curriculum

The online Graduate Certificate in Electronic Navigation consists of 12 credit hours. Your studies will include three core courses and one elective course of your choice.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the electronic navigation certificate program requires a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering from an ABET-accredited program (applicants for admission from non-accredited programs, or with a non-EE major in a related area, will be reviewed more carefully).

Application materials should also include: 

  • A minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA achieved in your B.S. degree (applicants for admission with an undergraduate GPA below 3.0 will be reviewed more carefully).
  • GRE required for applicants who did not graduate from an ABET-accredited electrical engineering or computer engineering program. Successful applicants are expected to score in the top 25th percentile on the quantitative reasoning portion.
  • For international students, a score of at least 88 on the TOEFL iBT (570 paper-based) or a 7.0 on the 9-band scale of the IELTS test.
